I feel like H doesn't care that much, but if M is going to be like that, H doesn't mind. This probably has more to do with their personalities than personal success, but the whole "embarrassed to be left alone with each other" thing seems to come from Matsumoto a lot more. I also know there was a time when Hamada was and was perceived as the more successful one, but is there "proof" that Matsumoto was truly jealous of H at any time during that? It would be weird to spend time alone with a guy like that because you actually hate him. I think a lot of us can imagine something like that.
